At least 315 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in India as of today, ICMR has said. In order to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people to observe Janata Curfew from 7am to 9pm. As the curfew began, he tweeted, “Stay indoors, stay healthy”.

Coronavirus LIVE updates | Gujarat govt asks EC to postpone March 26 Rajya Sabha polls
The Gujarat government has requested the Election Commission to postpone the March 26 Rajya Sabha election for four seats in the state in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel told news agency PTI. The government will tomorrow decide whether the ongoing budget session of the state Assembly should continue in view of the pandemic, he said. The budget session is scheduled to end on March 31.
The state has so far reported 18 positive cases and one death so far.

Fifteen new positive cases of coronavirus were detected in Kerala today, taking the total number of infected persons under treatment in the state to 64, the government said.
